Discussion Forum on the Green Party National Site

The website for the Green Party of the United States has an active discussion forum for Greens across the country.  Many issues related to the 10 key values are discussed here.  The various Green Party caucuses are also represented.

There are also many people posting notes building the party, about recent events and also about skills they can offer the Green Party.

Upcoming Progressive Campaign School Events in the Northwest

There are two upcoming campaign school events in our region which will be valuable for those looking to acquire skills for progressive campaigning or campaign support:

1. Green Campaign School for the Pacific Northwest on 3/16/13 in Portland, Oregon – http://www.jillstein.org/campaign_school_for_the_pacific_northwest [already happened]
2. Camp Wellstone the weekend of 4/26 – 4/28/13 in Seattle – http://www.wellstone.org/events/camp-wellstone-seattle

Registration for either event can be handled online.

Several Seattle Green Party members will attend the Portland event, and we will discuss the Wellstone April event in our next general membership meeting on 3/27/13 at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 7 pm.
