Westlake Park SAT October 16

Green Party of Seattle members unanimously agreed to endorse the Occupy Seattle and the broader Occupy Wall St. movement at our October 5 meeting. Seattle Greens agree that the 2 corporate parties are not representing the interest of citizens. The 99% should work together to take our democracy back back from the corporate elite. We encourage Greens and all Seattle citizens to join and support the protestors in every way possible. See you at Westlake!

UW WALKOUT in support of OCCUPY SEATTLE: Wed. Oct. 12, noon on Red Square

In support of Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Seattle there will be a Seattle city-wide student walkout on WED. At UW, College Greens are helping student organizers conduct a peaceful walkout at noon when they will meet at the Broken Obelisk on Red Square. We will leave for downtown at 12:45pm on buses and bikes. At 2:00pm we will join other campus walkout groups and the Occupation at Westlake Park for a gathering of voices and a rally.
